Overview #
This is a guide on how to create segments and how to create campaign in Amazon pinpoints by logging in as Marketplace admin. This is a feature which is used to trigger emails, sms and push notifications to the customers.

By the end of this guide, you will learn:
- How to create segments
- How to create campaign in Amazon Pinpoint.
Marketing segments (Pinpoints) #
- Click Marketing.
- Click Marketing Segment.
- Click Create Segment.
- Enter Segment Name, Segment Type & Channel Type (Select Email and SMS)
- Click Add.
- Click create campaign (in Amazon Pinpoint). You will be directed to AWS Amazon console.
- Go to Settings (in the left bottom).
- Click channels.
- Select Emails.
- Verify Email & Refresh.
- Click Save.
- Go to Segments.
- Click on the Segment created.
- Create Campaign.
- Enter Campaign Name. Click Next step.
- Create Message Template. Click Next step.
- Choose options. Click Next step.
- Click Schedule and Launch Campaign.
