Marketing Segments

This is a guide on how to create segments and how to create campaign in Amazon pinpoints by logging in as Marketplace admin. This is a feature which is used to trigger emails, sms and push notifications to the customers.

By the end of this guide, you will learn:

• How to create segments
• How to create campaign in Amazon Pinpoint.

1. Click Marketing.
2. Click Marketing Segment.
3. Click Create Segment.
4. Enter Segment Name, Segment Type & Channel Type (Select Email and SMS)
5. Click Add.
6. Click create campaign (in Amazon Pinpoint). You will be directed to AWS Amazon console.
7. Go to Settings (in the left bottom).
8. Click channels.
9. Select Emails.
10. Verify Email & Refresh.
11. Click Save.
12. Go to Segments.
13. Click on the Segment created.
14. Create Campaign.
15. Enter Campaign Name. Click Next step.
16. Create Message Template. Click Next step.
17. Choose options. Click Next step.
18. Click Schedule and Launch Campaign.
