In order to connect your Magento website to Avetti Shop Connect we will need the following information :
Shop URL #
In this section just copy and paste the URL to your Magento Website. For Example https://www.yourstore.com/. Copy and Paste into the Shop URL Field.
Access Token #
Step 1: To find your Magento API key, you need access to your Magento store’s admin panel. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to the Magento admin login page (e.g., https://www.yourstore.com/admin). Enter your login credentials (username and password) and click “Sign In” to access the admin interface.
Step 2: Once you’re logged in to the Magento admin panel, locate and hover over the “System” menu option in the top navigation bar. From the dropdown menu, select “Extensions” and then choose “Integrations” to proceed to the integration settings.
Step 3: a. Click on the “Add New Integration” button.
b. Enter a name for your integration in the “Name” field. Choose a descriptive name that helps you identify the integration later.
c. In the “Your Password” field, enter your admin panel password.
d. Under “API,” expand the “API” section to configure the access settings for the integration.
e. Choose the All option for Resource Access
f. Click on the “Save” button to proceed.
Step 4: After creating a new integration you will be redirected to the integration settings page. On this page, you can find your newly created Integration. Click on Activate.
Step 5: Click on Allow
Step 6: Copy and Paste your Access Token into the Access Token field.
Category Name #
Step 1: Once you’re logged in to the Magento admin panel, locate and hover over the “Catalog” menu option in the top navigation bar. From the dropdown menu, select “Categories” to access the category management page.
Step 2: Click on Add Root Category
Step 3: Turn Enable Category and Include in Menu to the No setting. Enter your desired Category Name into the Category Name field. Once finished click on Save which is located at the top right of the screen.
Step 4: Copy and Paste the name of the new Category into the Category Name field.
