Overview #
Item Geolocations provides the tools required to add/modify shipping countries and regions per product in the supplier store.
Setting the Shipping Countries per supplier #
Go to the supplier store > Shipping Countries and verify the correct country is enabled for each supplier. Especially, verify the shipping checkbox is enabled for the specific country column.
Now, click on the pencil icon in the Action column to open the list of regions for that country.
Select the shipping regions that are available for the products in this supplier and click on Save.
Setting the Item Geolocation per product #
Go to Settings > Product Settings and click on the Generate item filter button to generate the records for all products in the supplier store with the specific shipping location.
NOTE: After creating a new product, this button needs to be clicked to assign the product to an available location.
After the location filter records are created, change the status of the product to complete to copy the products to the MCW. If the status of the product is already complete, change the status to new or product in Progress and then change it back to complete. This is done to force the copy of the product to complete.
If there are many products with the same change, go to Marketplace > Approve products and change the products’ status.
After a few minutes, go to the MCW and verify the location filter records are copied to the MCW. Go to Settings > Item Geolocation.
Note: In the MCW we cannot create/edit/delete these records.
To do so, go back to the Supplier store and do it from there. The changes need to be copied to the MCW afterward.
After that’s done, the site must show only the products that are assigned to the specific location and category
