Overview #
The purpose of this manual is to familiarize you with customer segments in Avetti Commerce.
Customer segments is a great marketing feature that has been included so as to enable you to set up ad campaigns and other marketing techniques to reach out to your customer. The basic idea is to create separate shopper groups so that specific deals and promotions can be applied for customers belonging to a particular segment.
Objectives #
By the end of this module, you will learn to
- Create and configure customer segments
Customer segment #
- Click Marketing.
- Click Customer Segments. You will see a list existing shopper groups or customer segments.
Add Customer Segment #
- Click add on Customer Segments Page.
- Enter the details. (Refer table 1)
- Click Ok to save the details.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | Name for the customer group |
Priority | The priority level to be assigned for that specific group. Lower the numerical value, higher the priority. |
Start Date | Date on which the shopper group will be activated |
End date | Date after which the shopper group will become inactive |
Active | Check the box to activate or deactivate the shopper group with the specified date range |
Description | Provide a brief description about the purpose of this shopper group |
Edit Customer Segment #
- Click the shopper group name.
- Enter the details. (Refer table 1)
- Click Ok to save the details.
Managing Rules for Customer Segments #
- Click Rules link corresponding to each shopper group to customize a shopper group by specifying who all should be included in that group.
